Public Health Project in Amman

How Andi Went To Jordan
Andi won the Mosaic Diversity Scholarship from America's Unofficial Ambassadors (a project of the Creative Learning Foundation) for service work in a Muslim-majority country of her choice. She chose the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (located between Israel and Saudi Arabia).
During the planning process, Andi submitted an essay about her trip to Uganda to the United Planet Day Contest. She won the grand prize - a $2,000 grant towards a service trip.

What Andi Did in Jordan
While in-country, Andi worked with the regional headquarters of Friends of the Global Fund, a public health non-governmental organization aimed to eliminate malaria, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS in the Middle East and North Africa.
